As with any major project, there have been certain major milestones that we have celebrated crossing. Here are a few of my favorite:
Clearing complete
"We have water!" (I know that I don't sound nearly as cute as Greg..)
And then there was power for lights.. and a microwave and a dishwasher and a clothes dryer - true luxuries in Hawaii! I am very spoiled!
Move-In day. We jumped from the status of "tenants" to "landlords" in a matter of minutes! What a leap! **Please excuse the messiness of unpacking when the photos were taken - I will post a full tour of our own little "Out of Africa" soon**
And last but not least - a flushing, albeit compostable, toilet! Oh the joys of off-the-grid living..
Kudos to my darling hubby, without whom none of these milestones would have even existed!
